Stanley Total Living Center is located in Stanley, NC and provides health care for the elderly. The facility opened in 1984 and provides care from Independent Living through Nursing Care. Our website will provide you with the information needed to know about the services available and how we can provide you with the health care that may be needed now and in the future.

We provide a place where every person in their wisdom years would have the right to dignity and respect. We strive to have a ministry of compassion for residents. Our motto is "When better is possible, good is not enough."

Company Profile

Stanley Total Living Center began as a dream of Rev. Ted Smith, minister of First Presbyterian Church, when local church members had to travel out-of-town to visit family members in a nursing home because there were none located locally. First Presbyterian Church donated the land to build this facility. It is a non-profit corporation operated by non-paid board of directors from the local community. Income is used to provide a greater amount of health care than required by license.  residents from the immediate area as a priority over residents from out-of-town. Paul t administrator with 20 years of experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. He and his wife Kay have 4 grown children.
